The physics, electrical behavior and operating modes of the most important solid state devices: diodes, MOSFETs, JFETs and bipolar transistors. In order to understand the physical operation of these devices, basic concepts regarding semiconductor physics, p-n junction theory and MOS capacitor are also addressed.
